Coffee Break Marci from La La Land

Happy Monday!

Today I am back with a very fun image that is near and dear to my heart.   My name is Angela and I am addicted to coffee.  There I said it. 

I can drink coffee from getting up in the morning to going to bed at night.   I can drink it hot, I can drink it cold.  Only thing is it must have creamer or half and half.

I used a white gel pen to add dots to her headband.

I used pattern paper with coffee stains on it and added a coffee band from a coffee I recently enjoyed.  I inked it up to show the texture it had.

Ride Sally Ride from Sassy Cheryl

It's a Sassy Cheryl weekend over at Passionate Paper Creations.    I fell in love with this image because there is nothing better than going for a road trip (Short or long) with your sidekick.   My two pups just love going for car rides with me.

It's a Tonic weekend

Can you believe that we are already halfway through April?  This year is just flying by.

It's a Nuvo Product Weekend by Tonic over at Passionate Paper Creations and I am just in love with all things Nuvo and Tonic alike.  

Whether it be Nuvo drops, Mousse, or Glimmer Paste you'll be able to create all of the projects you want.   

I used a starfish stencil and the Nuvo Embellishment Mouse in powder blue to create a background.  Once it dried I distressed the edges and matted it on black cardstock.   I really wanted the powder blue mousse to pop.   

I tied some coral bakers twine around the card base to add a touch of color, and a few drops of Nuvo Navy Blue Crystal drops.  I loved how they added just a bit of color at the bottom.   I could have easily used Jewel Drops in Rosewater or Crystal Drops in Double Denim.  That's how amazingly versatile the products and colors are.  

I cut the twine with my Tonic studios scissors which are perfect because they don't fray the twine.  You can find them in green (As I believe the orange I use are retired) here: http://bit.ly/2qC6ubV.
